Abstract

Dentoalveolar traumatic injuries are common in children and adults, and management of their complications may be difficult. Traumatic injuries can damage the teeth and/or their supporting structures. The situation is more complex and more difficult to manage when both the teeth and their surrounding structures are traumatized. Management of traumatic injuries is a serious challenge for many dental clinicians and requires correct diagnosis and treatment planning and regular follow-up to achieve the best outcome. © The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021.
