Abstract

ZnO nanoparticle has well-known shift of the band gap, and consequently, that of the absorption edges with size which provide a reliable approach to estimate average size and size distribution of growing nanocrystal assemblies. The inset plot in figure 2(b) used for estimation of absorption edge in comparison with Bulk ZnO. There was a miscalculation in inset of previous reported figure 2(b) regarding absorption edge of ZnO nanoparticle which is corrected in this report.
