Abstract

Purpose: To describe a case of bilateral choroidal osteoma (CO) in a patient with a history of langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). Methods: A 24-year-old man complaining of gradually decreasing visual acuity in both eyes is presented. He had a history of lymphadenopathy, respiratory symptoms, and pathology-proven diagnosis of LCH. Results: Ophthalmic clinical and imaging studies revealed bilateral CO. Conclusion: In this patient, we suggest a possible relationship between LCH and CO. © 2018 Iranian Society of Ophthalmology
