Abstract

2-[2-(4-(Dibenzo[b, f][1,4]thiazepin-11-yl)piperazin-1-yl)ethoxy]ethanol (Quetiapine) labeled with 14C in 11-position was synthesized in five steps from [carboxy-14C]anthranilic acid. The key precursor of the target product is [11-14C]dibenzothiazepin-11(10H)-one. The reaction is performed as one-pot process. © 2016, Pleiades Publishing, Inc.
