Abstract

Brain tumor (BT) is the second most common pediatric cancer, one of the most common cancers among adults, and the major cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality worldwide. Both genetics and environment can contribute to BT induction. One of the environmental risks is diet which has not been proven as a certain hazard yet. The objective of the current chapter was to review the literature concerning both positive and negative effects of nutrition on BT risk. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
