Abstract

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is an intergovernmental organization established in 1960. OECD works with governments to understand the drivers of economic, social, and environmental change and to seek solutions to common problems. The OECD works on chemical safety, organized under its Environment, Health, and Safety Program. In this Program, countries work together to coordinate their activities related to chemical and pesticide safety and set international standards, for example, through the Mutual Acceptance of Data (MAD) system. Many agreed methods, tools, and reports have been produced that are all available for free at the OECD website. © 2024 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
