Abstract

Orbscan (Bausch & Lomb) is a combined topographer and tomographer that evaluates the entire cornea and anterior chamber parameters with a combination of slit scanning technology and an advanced Placido disc system. In the new generation, Orbscan 3 can also measure both anterior and posterior corneal elevations. It also measures the anterior corneal curvature and provides a pachymetric map, white to white, angle kappa, and anterior chamber depth measurements. The main purpose of this chapter is to introduce the diagnostic parameters of this combined Slit-scanning and Placido-based diagnostic modality and to introduce interesting cases and compare the diagnostic ability of Orbscan with other common imaging devices. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021.
