Abstract

The trigeminocardiac reflex (TCR) is a well-known brain stem reflex that appears first in neurosurgical skull-base surgery. More and more craniomaxillofacial skull-base operations also are known to exhibit the reflex. This chapter discusses the appearance of the TCR in craniomaxillofacial surgeries. © 2015 Elsevier Inc.
