Abstract

Introduction Neoplasm of the penis is relatively rare in most regions representing 0-2% of cancers worldwide. Penile Squamous Cell Carcinoma (PSCC) represents approximately 95% of all penile neoplasms. Case presentation We describe a case of a 37-year-old male presenting with Peyronie's disease initially treated with plaque removal and reconstruction using a buccal mucosal graft (BMG) and later on developed squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) at the site of the previous BMG after one year of surgery. Conclusions It has raised serious concerns regarding the safety and long-term results linked to the use of BMG in these surgical interventions.
