Abstract

In the above-mentioned article ▶Fig. 1 was incorrect. ▶Fig. 1 is replaced by the flow chart below, which clarifies the numbers associated with each exclusion criterion. In the above-mentioned article Table 1 displayed 2 incorrect data. Correct is: TSH Median (Min-Max) (mlU/l) for Pregnant women (n = 185) is 1.50 (0.03–5.30) mIU/l, and 10th percentile of FT4 for Pregnant women (n = 185) is 11.58. (Figure Presented). (Table Presented) In the above-mentioned article ▶Table 2 excluded outlier values. Correction: ▶Table 2 is replaced with the revised table below. The group of non-pregnant women with positive TPOAb included 96 cases. However, 2 of these had outlier values for TSH concentrations, and therefore had been excluded from the data analysis presented in ▶Table 2 of the original paper. We omitted to mention this exclusion. Since exclusion of outlier data is controversial, we have taken this opportunity to not exclude these 2 outliers in the analysis; the modified results are shown in the revised ▶Table 2. It is worth noting that the P values for comparison of the medians showed no changes and the discussion of the paper remains valid; no correction is required in the main text. To further clarify the results in ▶Table 2, we added the number of participants in each group whose data were analysed. In the above-mentioned article Table 3 displayed incorrect data. Table 3 has been replaced by ▶Table 3.1 and ▶3.2. The text in the section “Results” referring to the table has been changed accordingly. (Table Presented) In the above-mentioned article, the last paragraph of the section “Results” showed incorrect data for MoM values at the 1st and 99th percentiles for TSH. Correct is: MoM values at the 1st and 99th percentiles for TSH were 0.026 and 4.61 in total sample and in healthy pregnant women were 0.05 and 3.41. In the above-mentioned article, the last paragraph of the section “Results” showed incorrect data for MoM values for FT4 at the 2.5th and 99th percentiles. Correct is: MoM values for FT4 at the 2.5th and 99th percentiles were 0.70 and 1.40 in total sample and in healthy pregnant women were 0.70 and 1.45, respectively. © The Author(s), 2021.
