Abstract

Introduction: Vesicovaginal fistula is a type of female urogenital fistula. It is an abnormal tract between the bladder and vagina and causes discharge of urine into the vaginal cavity. In addition to the medical complications of vesicovaginal fistula, it can also deteriorate patient’s quality of life. Case Presentation: Here, we present the case of a 16-year-old girl who presented with a vesicovaginal fistula due to a vaginal foreign body (marbles) leading to stone formation in the vagina. Conclusions: According to our case, foreign body in the long-term leads to tissue necrosis and formation of fistula that cause urinary incontinence and stone formation. © 2018, Author(s).
