Abstract

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most prevalent skin cancer, belonging to a group of skin cancers, namely Non-melanoma skin cancers. The increasing annual incidence, cosmetic disfigurements, and high recurrence rates give prominence to the role of the treatment methods used. Although there are numerous treatment modalities, pulsed dye laser (PDL) has emerged as an effective treatment for basal cell carcinoma in recent years. In this review, we aimed to assess the efficacy of pulsed dye laser on basal cell carcinoma in previous studies. © 2025 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
