Abstract

The use of nanotechnology in medicine has improved the methods for diagnosis and treatment of different diseases such as cancer. Compared to current methods, using nanoparticles could improve the sensitivity and efficiency of methods used in diahnosis and treatment of cancer. In recent years, development of several nanodrugs has proved the success of nanomedicine. In this paper, we review the nanodrugs used in treatment and diagnosis of cancer released in global market. In addition, we briefly introduced the nanodrugs used to diagnose and treat cancer in clinical trials. © 2014, Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences. All rights reserved.
