Abstract

Acetamide is used as solublizer, stabilizer, plasticizer, and with industrial applications in cryoscopy, soldering, and the textile industry. This compound is not genotoxic and the carcinogenic response is related to the formation of hydroxylamine. In addition, hepatotoxicity and hematopoietic toxicity are observed for this compound. © 2024 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
