Abstract

The main procedure for visual rehabilitation of the patient with keratoconus for who sufferers with contact lens intolerance is corneal transplantation. 1 Keratoplasty has been changed from full-thickness toward o the lamellar technique and the main indicator of deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK) is keratoconus. Compared with penetrating keratoplasty (PKP), DALK has improved graft outcomes and decreased some complications, including endothelial rejection, endophthalmitis, etc.2 © 2025 selection and editorial matter, Mehrdad Mohammadpour and Masoud Khorrami-Nejad; individual chapters, the contributors.
