Abstract

Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is one of the commonly performed cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation. Due to the complex anatomical structure of delicate periocular tissues, mastery of anatomy, familiarity with aging changes, and knowledge and skill in surgical techniques are essential for the surgeons performing this operation. In this chapter, these topics as well as review of main adjunctive procedures for enhancement of aesthetic outcome and notion of some of common or serious complications of upper blepharoplasty are covered. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021.
