Abstract

The mandibular angle is one of the fundamental constituents of the facial skeletal framework in which a defect in this area can greatly affect the facial harmony. Various techniques have been proposed in the literature to correct mandibular angle anomalies and improve its status including the use fillers, alloplastic materials, and costume biocompatible titanium prostheses. Each of these methods has different advantages, disadvantages, and indications; addressing all of these requires a separate detailed study. In this article by presenting some cases, we briefly describe the entire treatment process focusing on the technique used in the mandibular angle region. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021.
