Abstract

Microfluidics has many roles in the fields of chemistry, biology, and engineering. The fabrication of these devices has been considered as a central challenge for their medical and industrial applications. In this chapter we first describe software tools such as AutoCAD, which are essential for microfluidic device design. Then, we review techniques including replica molding, 3D printing, polymer laminates, and some new technologies in nanofabrication. Finally, we explain the methods for microfluidic device tests. © 2021 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
