Abstract

Corneal grafting, specifically penetrating keratoplasty (PK) and deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK), are commonly used surgical interventions for advanced keratoconus and corneal opacities. This chapter will review the prerequisite, intra-operative, and postoperative suture-related considerations and complications of corneal grafts for keratoconus. © 2025 selection and editorial matter, Mehrdad Mohammadpour and Masoud Khorrami-Nejad; individual chapters, the contributors.
