Abstract

MXenes endowed with their optoelectronic properties can be deployed in designing photodetectors with multifunctionality, as exemplified by Zheng et al.’s recent article in Matter portraying the design of MXene quantum dots/perovskite heterostructure facilitating the outstanding specific ultraviolet detection for skin prevention. © 2023 Elsevier Inc.
