Abstract

This article has been retracted at the request of M. Kashanian. A reader raised concerns over discrepancies identified in this paper. Following the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines the retraction is subsequently made after an investigation by the journal's editorial board, who had concerns over the recruitment of participants, that the trial had been registered retrospectively and that numbers in the published manuscript did not correspond with this clinical trial registration. The authors were unable to provide the editorial board with the original data and as such determined that retraction was the best course of action. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd
