Abstract

The scarcity of safe and clean water is a worldwide problem that threatens the existence of all living creatures. Hybrid nanomaterials have received considerable attention to overcome this issue. These are environmentally benign, cost-effective, and energy-efficient composites with operational practicality and flexibility. Furthermore, these materials have demonstrated exceptional features such as mechanical stability, magnetic stability, and electrical conductivity. This chapter summarizes the importance of hybrid nanomaterials. In addition, various applications of hybrid nanomaterials are discussed. Hybrid nanomaterials are discussed as a potential candidate for environmental remediation in the near future. © 2023 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
