Efforts to discover new treatment methods will always continue. Today, attention has been paid to drugs that through different mechanisms may affect various diseases. Antiparasitic agents are among those that have various properties and can be used in various diseases. These drugs are divided into three categories: anthelmintic, antiprotozoal, and antifungal. Inflammation is one of the conditions that lead to the occurrence of many diseases. Drugs with the ability to inhibit inflammation play a significant role in the treatment of diseases. In this study, the role of antiparasitic drugs in the treatment of other diseases is discussed. Data were collected from experimental and clinical studies in English from Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, and the Cochrane library. © 2024 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
