Abstract

The rapid increase in medical literature and the growing number of systematic reviews highlight the need for careful quality assessment of these reviews. Ensuring the reliability of systematic reviews is essential for clinicians and researchers who rely on these findings to inform their decisions. A thorough evaluation of the quality of systematic reviews not only enhances their credibility but also supports evidence-based practice in healthcare. This chapter explores the importance of quality assessment in systematic reviews, providing insights into methodologies and criteria that can help determine the trustworthiness of their results. © 2025 Elsevier Inc.
