Abstract

Green chemistry is one of the most important routes for the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds. In this regard, the synthesis of 2-thioxoquinazolinone derivatives was achieved by condensation of versatile materials including isatoic anhydride, amine and potassium thiocyanate in the green medium of water.
