Abstract

The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article. After publication, concerns were raised regarding the fluorescence and electron microscopy images presented in the article. Specifically: • In Fig. 3a, all images appear to originate from the same sample. • In Fig. 3a CPZ GFAP image, some cells appear to be duplicated. • In Fig. 5a, all images appear to contain some duplicated patterns. • In Fig. 6a Control Olig2 image, some cells and other features appear to be duplicated. The authors have provided the underlying data to address these concerns. However, the publisher found the same similarities in these data. The Editor-in-Chief therefore no longer has confidence in the presented data. The authors have not responded to any correspondence from the editor or publisher about this retraction. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
