Abstract

The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article. After publication, concerns were raised regarding image similarities between Fig. 1 in this article and Fig. 4b in an earlier article [1]. The authors have stated that the images were misused due to an oversight, and provided the original data for validation. However, further checks by the publisher have identified potential image overlap between different samples and highly similar patterns within images provided for Fig. 3a and b. The Editor-in-Chief therefore no longer has confidence in the presented data. Ali Gorji and Amir Ghaemi do not agree to this retraction. None of the other co-authors have responded to any correspondence from the publisher about this retraction. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.
