Abstract

The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article. After publication, concerns were raised regarding high similarity between EM images representing different groups in Figs. 5a and S3a, which the authors addressed by a Correction [1]. However, further checks by the publisher found additional concerns: • In. Fig. S4a, the CPZ + L-AAA + MSC and CPZ + PBS + MSC group images appear to overlap; • Fig. S5a Ctrl and S6a CPZ + PBS + MSC green and blue fluorescence images appear to overlap. • In. Fig. S4a, the CPZ + L-AAA + MSC and CPZ + PBS + MSC group images appear to overlap; • Fig. S5a Ctrl and S6a CPZ + PBS + MSC green and blue fluorescence images appear to overlap. The authors have been unable to provide the full raw data from these experiments. The Editor-in-Chief therefore no longer has confidence in the presented data.
