Abstract

Many drugs used in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) settings have the potential to cause adverse cardiovascular effects. Drug-induced cardiotoxicity Cardiotoxicity is a serious adverse effect with a high rate of morbidity and mortality in patients undergoing autologous or Allogeneic HSCT allogeneic HSCT. The mechanism of drug-induced cardiotoxicity can involve direct or indirect damage to cardiac cells. Furthermore, these toxicities may manifest either early or late. There are several risk factors that can increase an individual's susceptibility to cardiotoxicity. Identifying prevention and management strategies for cardiac complications Cardiac complications induced by drugs is crucial. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024. All rights reserved.
