Abstract

Rehabilitative interventions play a crucial role in the care of patients who have undergone Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) (HSCT), and a multidisciplinary rehabilitation Multidisciplinary rehabilitation program can help manage psychological challenges, improve physical and functional abilities and overall Quality Of Life Quality Of Life (QOL) in phases of HSCT's patients' treatment that associated with the transplant process. Historically, long-term Cardiovascular Disease Cardiovascular disease (CVD) and CVD risk factors such as Myocardial Infarction (MI), Heart Failure Heart failure (HF), and arrhythmias, are a major cause of morbidity and mortality among HSCT Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) survivors; Cardiotoxicity Cardiotoxicity has been associated with chemotherapeutic agents used as part of primary treatment or preparative regimens in addition to cardiovascular issues related to HSCT. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
