Abstract

Cyfluthrin, a synthetic fluorinated pyrethroid insecticide, is widely used in domestic and agricultural settings due to its high activity against many pests. Cyfluthrin toxicity is exhibited by its metabolites which in turn generate free radicals. In short- and long-term studies, this insecticide toxicity is considered moderately and is classified as probably not carcinogenic to humans. © 2024 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
