Abstract

The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article. After publication, concerns were raised regarding areas of high similarity within the images presented in Fig. 1e and g. The authors have provided the original images to address these concerns. However, the areas of concern appear to be different between the original data and the published images. The Editor-in-Chief therefore no longer has confidence in the presented data. The publisher has not been able to obtain a current email address for Adib Zendehdel. None of the other authors have responded to any correspondence from the editor or publisher about this retraction. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
