Abstract

This article has been retracted at the request of Editor-in-Chief. The authors requested to publish a corrigendum to rectify mistakenly used images in Figures 1 and 4, which contain identical parts to the images in Figure 1 of another article by the same author group (Khori et al., 2018 Peptide, 107, 54–60, 10.1016/j.peptides.2018.07.007). The editor found more concerns about the integrity of the images shown in Figures 4, based on the in-house image analysis and reported suspected image duplications. Furthermore, in-house image analysis revealed that, in Figure 6, the Western blot subfigures for BCL2 (ADR + Cyclo and ADR + Cyclo + Tax) appear identical to these of Caspase 3 (Control and TAM), but the figure has been rotated 180°. The Editor asked the authors for an explaination, but a satisfactory answer was not provided. Due to the above concerns, the Editor decided to retract the paper. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.
