Abstract

Synthesis of some quinoline-containing α-aminophosphonate derivatives via Kabachnik–Fields reaction between an amine, quinoline-4-carbaldehyde and a phosphite in the presence of polyethylene imine grafted mesoporous nanomaterial (MCM-41@PEI) as a nanocatalyst was investigated. The reactions were carried out in one pot and under solvent free conditions at 50-80°C to afford the corresponding α-aminophosphonates in high yields and short times. © 2017 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
