Abstract

After a prolonged time of inertia, in the last decade, much interest has been directed toward the uric acid due to the results from experimental investigations that reveal detrimental effects of uric acid on blood pressure and renal function. This review aimed to discuss the impact of serum uric acid on the aggravation of renal function. © 2014 Zhengzhou University. All Rights reserved.
