Abstract

A facile, one-pot, and green method for synthesis of 2-aryl-3-(phenylamino)dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivatives using Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) in aqueous media at room temperature through a reaction between isatoic anhydride, phenylhydrazine, benzaldehyde derivatives in the presence of SLS. This one-pot protocol provides these valuable desired compounds under mild and green conditions with excellent efficiency by using simple available starting materials. © 2023 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
