Abstract

2,4,5-Triaryl-1H-imidazoles were synthesized from benzyl bromides under Kornblum oxi-dative condition. The reaction proceeded via an in situ oxidation followed by condensation to afford the desired products in good yields. © 2018 Bentham Science Publishers.
