Abstract

The toxic effects of chemicals can be affected by many different factors, including dosage, duration, and route of exposure. The term used to determine the severity of the toxicity spectrum, ranging from doses with no toxicologically identifiable and negligible effects to doses with more profound toxicity, including but not limited to no adverse reaction level observed, the lowest observed adverse reaction level, acceptable daily intake, tolerable daily intake, reference dose, LD50, LT50, etc. © 2024 Elsevier Inc.
